Duarte Rodrigues

ERC funded PhD Student

Duarte is a part-time PhD student in the lab, who spends the remainder of his time working with Neroes - a neurotechnology startup developing an AI-enhanced gamified neurofeedback platform. Duarte holds both a BSc and an MSc in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Porto, and his MSc research was conducted in collaboration with the Laboratory of Cognitive Neuroscience at EPFL, where he investigated behavioural patterns associated with presence hallucinations in Parkinson’s disease. His PhD research investigates how closed-loop stimulus presentation and neurofeedback can be used to enhance memory performance.
