Daniel Bush

Dan graduated from Imperial College with a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering before going on to complete a PhD under the supervision of Andy Philippides and Phil Husbands at the University of Sussex Centre for Computational Neuroscience and Robotics. After brief post-doc positions with Mayank Mehta at UCLA and Yaochu Jin at the University of Surrey, he joined the Space and Memory Group at the UCL Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience and worked for eleven years as a research fellow and senior research fellow with Neil Burgess. In 2022, he became a Lecturer in the UCL Department of Neuroscience, Physiology and Pharmacology and started the Human Neurophysiology lab, funded by an EPSRC Frontier Research grant. Dan is as an Associate Editor for PLoS Computational Biology and a member of the UCL Centre for Neuroimaging Techniques.
